It has very little to do with make it look and feel like being closer to the iPad application. I like it however and understand the conversion. The program itself has become much better over the years but the big revamp of UI in 2018 was a real headache for many. I can say as much as this I have worked with Bluebeam since 2011 to 2018 as reseller and support (support on everyday small issues). This has been extremely frustrating for me and users to deal with and wondering if anyone has come across any fixes since support from Bluebeam themselves seems almost non-existent.ΔΆ018 has pros and cons no doubt. It only let's go of that allocated memory once you close out of Bluebeam Revu 2018 completely. Has anyone else been having similar issues to this? Also I have noticed that when working with multiple documents in Bluebeam Revu 2018, it sometimes has a memory leak causing it to eat up memory allocation even when there's only one document left open in the current Bluebeam Revu 2018 session. The only way to fix that issue is to switch the 2D rendering engine BACK to Standard (GDI). The problem with that though is it breaks the "extract pages" function when working with one of our specifications program. Switching their 2D rendering engine to Advanced (Skia) and disabling blend modes seems to help a lot with the performance issues. I work in the IT department and have had users complain about the performance.
